Ranch-Style Beef Bones
Makes about 80 treats.
1lb lean ground beef
2 beaten eggs
3 cups flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup water
- In a blender or food processor combine beef and eggs until well blended. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and oats. Gradually mix in the beef mixture with your hands until well blended.
- Add water and stir to form a sticky dough.
- Divide into 2 balls.
- Knead each ball one at a time on a well-floured surface about 2 minutes, adding flour until dough is no longer sticky.
- With rolling pin roll dough to about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thickness.
- Cut with cookie cutter and place on lightly greased baking sheet.
- Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
- Cool on rack and store (room temperature) in a container with loose-fitting lid.
