Veggie Dog Bones
3 cup chopped parsley
1/5 cup chopped carrots
2 T bran
2 T olive oil
2-3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 to 1 cup water
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease or spray a cookie sheet.
- Stir parsley, carrots, cheese and oil.
- Combine all dry ingredients and add to veggie mixture.
- Gradually add water until dough is moist but not wet.
- Knead for 1 minute, adding more water if needed.
- Roll dough out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes with a cookie cutter and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until biscuits have lightly browned.
